Working for social justice comes in many forms, including partnering with governments to do translate health research into policy. The Washington Global Health Alliance recognized a team of researchers from the University of Washington (USA) and Kenyatta National Hospital (Kenya) as Pioneers in Global Health.  BGSP Social Justice and Human Rights advisory board member Dr. Anjuli Wagner, Dr. Irene Njuguna,  and Dr. Grace John-Stewart, conducted the CATCH research study  which tested children for HIV in Kenya and was scaled nationally.
