Becoming an Analyst: Treatment and Training

The Cape this year will offer an extended learning experience where faculty and students can explore the concepts behind the process of psychoanalysis and discuss the nuance to the practice. The week will be an opportunity to hear from students at various points in the training process and from the faculty who support the work. Topics and case presentations will  cover all aspects of the training process from your first 111 experience up to the final doctoral paper.

The afternoon will offer opportunity to swim, kayak, lounge or meet up with others. 

The scheduled evening activities are open to all family members and friends joining you at the cape. The student association sponsors a Bar-b-que dinner one night and a bonfire on the beach on another that shouldn’t be missed. For another evening of pleasure, Dr. Snyder invites everyone to her Cape Cod home for an evening of wine and hors d’oeuvres (including Wellfleet oysters!).

Come to the cape for a day or rent a house and stay for the week!
