LIVINGSTON, NJ – On Wednesday, November 5th, Livingston’s Mayor Michael Rieber cut the ribbon at 301 South Livingston Avenue to signify the opening of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis – New Jersey (BGSP-NJ) at the Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis (ACAP).
Two new Master of Arts degrees, a Master of Arts in Psychoanalytic Counseling (MAPC) and a Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis (MAP) – neither of which is currently available elsewhere in New Jersey – will be offered. The New Jersey Office of Higher Education has licensed BGSP-NJ to offer graduate degrees in psychoanalysis to students interested in pursuing advanced study in mental health. Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2015 semester on a rolling admission basis.
