Helping Ensure Our Continued Success: A Message from President, Carol M. Panetta, Psy.D.

Dear BGSP Community,

I hope you are well and enjoying the start of summer. The BGSP neighborhood has been busy these past few months. From the Boston Marathon to college and university graduations, there is a sense of possibility, new beginnings, and a celebration of all that individuals have the capacity to accomplish.

Our BGSP community knows the vital importance of understanding the unconscious forces that drive us in order to open this world of possibility and achieve one’s highest potential. With this understanding, our students, faculty, and alumni make a deep and meaningful impact on their own lives and those around them.

As I recently announced, BGSP has launched a five-year, $1.2 million fundraising campaign to deepen this impact and support our ambitious goals for the future. The Campaign for BGSP: Train • Lead • Serve will allow BGSP to provide more financial aid, ensuring that talented students can attend the School with less financial burden. It will provide support to retain and attract a diverse group of faculty, continuing BGSP’s leadership in the field of psychoanalysis. And it will provide support for the Therapy Center and training for other community providers, furthering BGSP’s mission to make quality mental health treatment available to those who need it.

To ensure the success of these vital Campaign priorities, we need donor support! It’s not too late to contribute for this fiscal year. Gifts to the annual fund help us reach our Campaign goal and advance all that BGSP makes possible for those we train, the field we lead, and the communities we serve.

Thank you for being a valued part of our BGSP community and for your support of our mission. Please help ensure our continued success by considering a gift to the annual fund today!

With best wishes,

Carol M. Panetta, Psy.D.
President

P.S. Please make your gift by July 31! Your annual support will bring us closer to our Campaign goal and helps advance our mission of ensuring access to quality mental health education and treatment for all.
