Movie Discussion: The Giver
- This event has passed.
March 27, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Giver can be viewed as a commentary on totalitarianism, psychopharmacology, and the importance of one’s history in the development of their character. The idea of giver and receiver parallels that of the analytic situation and the use of color in the film references the importance of having all your feelings. Come and discuss this as well as your take on the ending!
Please preview the movie in advance, as it is not shown at the event.
