Robin Rayford | MALLP

Current Student, Accelerated Doctoral Program

I am currently a doctoral candidate in the Accelerated Doctor of Psychoanalysis Program. I am also an adult psychoanalyst and also an advanced child/adolescent candidate at the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. I am the founder and clinical director of Life Restoration Counseling and Psychological Services located in Troy, MI. Outside of work, I am the Director of Restoration Fellowship Tabernacle Counseling Center, a faith-based initiative in Detroit, MI, and I have been active on boards and committees that provide opportunities for applied psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic approaches to mental health awareness and wellness needs. One such initiative is Shining Stars (www.shiningstarsdetroit.com), an early learning parent-child interaction group, serving mothers/fathers and children from 0-5 years old. This program, which I founded, is designed to help build relational bonds between parents/grandparents and the child.
