Health Insurance and Emergency Information
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires all full-time students to have health insurance. Hospitalization is very expensive in the United States, and international students are not eligible for assistance from the US government. If you do not have health insurance that will cover you in the United States, the following are two companies offering emergency coverage. If you have any questions, please contact the Registrar.
In the case of an emergency, call 911. This will connect to police, fire and medical response.
International students are not eligible for US federal loans. TERI loans are available for students with a cosigner that is a US citizen. International students in need of assistance often get loans in their home country. Any questions about financial aid should be directed to the Director of Financial Aid. She can be reached at (617) 277-3915 extension 20 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
